School-aged children living in the City of Watsonville are served by the public schools of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District. Based in Watsonville, the thirteen elementary schools, six middle schools, five high schools, and five charter schools are all organized and sectioned off into three zones: South, North, and Central Zones, with each zone headed by an assistant superintendent.
